Karl Jordan, Jr., 40, and Ronald Washington, 59, who were both charged in 2020 for the death of the Rap icon have been found guilty after a 3-week trial in Brooklyn that concluded February 27.

The federal jury came to the conclusion after prosecutors called more than 30 witnesses to the stand to prove Jam Master Jay was shot by both men after he cut them out of a cocaine deal. The defense only called one witness to the stand who was identified as a “expert on memory.”

Both men face a minimum sentence of 20 years in prison and will have the opportunity to challenge the verdict.
