Falcons Cornerback A.J. Terrell burst onto the scene in his sophomore season in 2021 where he was selected as a Second Team All Pro and was graded as the 2nd best corner in the NFL that season by Pro Football Focus.

Last season Terrell was hampered by injury a bit was was unable to display the quality he showed in 2021, but he's returned in 2023 confident he can display the level of defensive dominance that he displayed two seasons ago.

A.J. Terrell is looking forward to "taking risks and being more aggressive" and he credits the offseason additions the Falcons made, especially Safety Jessie Bates with allowing him to play that way.

Terrell had 81 tackles, 3 interceptions, and a sack in 2021, but just 47 tackles with zero interceptions a year ago.
