Five days after professional golfer Gene Siller and two other men were found dead at a Cobb County golf course, authorities say that an arrest has been made.

Bryan Rhoden is identified by Cobb County Sheriff Craig Owens as the suspect in the shootings at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw last Saturday.

According to Sheriff Owens, Rhoden was taken into custody by his office, its Fugitive Task Force, and U.S. Marshalls in the city of Chamblee, which is located in DeKalb County. Rhoden was then brought back to Cobb County where he was handed over to the local police department.

The murders had residents in the area on alert. "We wanted to do everything that we could in helping locate this individual as quickly as we
could", said Owens, "I thnk it's a great sigh of relief for our Cobb County residents that we were able to apprehend this suspect today."

Siller, who worked at the country club, was found shot to death on the green. Two other men were found shot to death in the bed of a white pickup truck that was parked on the 10th hole at the course. They were identified as 76-year-old Paul Pierson, of Kansas, and 46-year-old Henry Valdez of California. Authorities said the truck had been stolen.

"Hopefully the arrest gives residents a sense of relief", Owens said, "that they feel safe in the Kennesaw community that this individual is no longer in the neighborhood or the area, running the streets free."
