You hear this word every week in Arthur Smith's press conferences - culture. It's what the Falcons are building, and it's what carried them to the success they've had so far this year. And it's what will continue to give them success past this season.

Atlanta is currently 4-4 and atop the NFC South Standings, a place they have not been since the magical 2016 season. And it's really no secret how they've gotten to this point. Arthur Smith said earlier this week that it was "something every day you've got to work on", referring to the idea of culture and this team.

It also takes the right personnel. From the front office, to the coaches, to the players on the field, the mission has to be the same. "You try to find the right people and you try to foster the right climate and get the right type of guys" Arthur also added.

Falcons broadcaster Wes Durham was on The Steakhouse this morning, and echoed these same sentiments. He said this starts with GM Terry Fontenot making sure Arthur has the right players to play the style of football that builds the best brand of culture.

The Falcons are home Sunday at Mercedes Benz Stadium to face the Chargers, with kickoff at 1 pm.
