The Atlanta Hawks made a trade a day after the NBA draft. Then they made another one.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Celtics have traded Tristan Thompson to the Hawks in exchange for Kris Dunn, Bruno Fernando and a 2023 second-round pick. Shortly after that deal, Atlanta sent Thompson to Sacramento for guard Delon Wright.

Wright, 29, played for both Sacramento and Detroit last season. He poured in 10 points per game for the Kings and 10.4 per game for the Pistons. In total he averaged 27.7 minutes per over 63 games for both teams.

Thompson averaged 8.1 rebounds and 7.6 points per game last season as he put in close to 24 minutes per game on the floor for Boston.

Dunn played in college at Providence and has bounced around the league in his five seasons in the NBA. Last year with the Hawks, he played in just four games due to right ankle surgery. His best season came in 2017-18 when he averaged 13.4 points per game with the Bulls.

He was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Fernando, 20, averaged 1.5 points per game last season. Thompson was traded due to the number of players the Celtics have in the front court.
