The Braves organization is pitching in to ensure Georgians have access to the COVID vaccination. The organization is partnering with Northside Hospital and Cobb and Douglas Public Health to host vaccination events.

This week, the state announced plans to shut down operations at eight mass vaccination sites across Georgia on May 21st. In Georgia, nearly 6 million people have been administered the COVID-19 vaccine. According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, 34% of residents have received their first dose, and 24% have been fully vaccinated.

The first free vaccination event will be a first-dose clinic this Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm at Truist Park, with second doses scheduled for May 26th.

Registration is now open at braves.com/vaccine.
