The Atlanta Braves got back to their winning ways over the weekend by taking 2-of-3 from the Brewers in Milwaukee. It was not all positive, however, as Michael Soroka was once again sent back down to Triple-A after surrendering four earned runs in 6 IP. Soroka was in command through five, but after being sent out in the sixth he ran out of gas and gave up a two-run homer. Dukes & Bell say adding another quality starter remains the priority for this team.

“To me, I want to load up on starting pitching, that’s the only deficiency on this team right now,” Mike Bell explained.

“I think a lot of the moves that (GM) Alex Anthopoulos is making are moves to set up moves,” John Fricke, in for Carl Dukes, added.

Starting pitchers that are reportedly available on the market include Lucas Giolito of the White Sox, Eduardo Rodriguez of the Tigers and Jordan Montgomery of the Cardinals.
