Atlanta United has named their new manager, Ronny Deila, who won the MLS Cup with NYCFC in 2021. Deila, a former Norwegian International, takes over for Rob Valentino, who served as the interim manager after a midseason firing of Gonzalo Pineda.
Earlier on Friday Atlanta United announced they have traded for DC United Midfielder Mateusz Klich in exchange for Atlanta’s first round pick (No. 23) in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.
