Brian Snitker confident in Fried, Wright & Morton in NLDS

On Thursday Andy & Randy were joined by Atlanta Braves Manager Brian Snitker who is fresh off of leading the Braves to a 5th straight National League East title.

During the course of the interview Snitker talked about everything from where this division title ranks against the other ones, how Spencer Strider is coming along, what this division title means to Ronald Acuña Jr. and the advantage that the Braves have playing in front of their home fans at Truist Park.

The conversation with Snitker turned towards what the Braves starting rotation in the NLDS will look like. “We are all going to need three starters. We are still up in the air with one of them (Spencer Strider) but yeah I feel really good if we got Max (Fried), Kyle (Wright) and Charlie (Morton) to go you know the first three games of this playoff run. Spencer (Strider) is still a question mark, as we get closer we will know more but we have a rotation. I’m going to feel really good going into this first round,” Snitker replied when asked if the Braves starting rotation in the NLDS will look like it did in the series the Braves swept the Mets.

After finishing 101-61 on the season and winning the tiebreaker over the New York Mets, the Braves have secured the 2-seed in the National League and will await the three-game wildcard series winner between the Philadelphia Phillies and the St.
Louis Cardinals.

Game 1 of the NLDS is scheduled for Tuesday October 11th. Start time is to be determined.

You can hear Andy & Randy Monday-Friday from 11a-2p.
