Brian Snitker raves about Michael Harris, expects him to be hitting 2nd or 3rd for a long time

On Thursday Andy & Randy were joined by Atlanta Braves Manager Brian Snitker who talked about a number of topics including where this division title ranks against the other ones, how Spencer Strider is coming along, what this division title means to Ronald Acuña Jr. and the advantage that the Braves have playing in front of their home fans at Truist Park.

The conversation then turned to rookie sensation Michael Harris and the impact he has had on the Braves and how Snitker determines where Harris will bat in the lineup.

“He is a versatile kid, it doesn’t matter where he hits, you know he is going to do damage…as he matures and he becomes this player we all know he is he will probably be at that number 2 or 3 spot for a long time,” Snitker on Harris and where he bats in the lineup.

Snitker went on to talk about the way carries himself and how much the veteran players appreciate his presence.

After finishing 101-61 on the season and winning the tiebreaker over the New York Mets, the Braves have secured the 2-seed in the National League and will await the three-game wildcard series winner between the Philadelphia Phillies and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Game 1 of the NLDS is scheduled for Tuesday October 11th. Start time is to be determined.

You can hear Andy & Randy Monday-Friday from 11a-2p.
