Audacy NFL Insider Ross Tucker stopped by Dukes & Bell Thursday for his weekly visit to discuss all the headlines around the league. He says all the negative reaction to Cordarrelle Patterson not being named to the Pro Bowl may be misguided.

“This is my rule: Who should he be in instead of? And therein lies the rub," said Tucker. "It’s not easy to make the Pro Bowl. Is he a wide receiver? Is he a running back? They probably should have a slot for an athlete (on the roster now).”
Tucker adds that his stats are good as a whole but not when you break them down by position.
“When you combine his yards receiving, rushing and returning he has the fifth most in the league," Tucker said. "But when you look at some of the other guys who are going, it’s hard to say Cordarrelle should be in. But, somehow, some way he deserves recognition for a special season.”
