The Atlanta Braves now have five shutouts in their last 12 games with the latest coming behind another stellar outing from Kyle Muller.
Muller, who was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett before the game, threw 5 scoreless innings, allowing one hit and nine strikeouts to earn his first career win.
It was Muller's second start for the Braves and his third career appearance. In his previous outing, he held the Mets to just one run over 4 innings.
92.9 The Game reporter Joe Patrick joined The Midday Show to discuss whether Muller has already earned that fifth rotation spot after two great starts.
"I think Kyle Muller will be (the fifth starter), especially with Tucker Davidson going down. He was probably the guy that was in line to be that guy but now, I think, Kyle Muller is essentially replacing Tucker Davidson in that role," Patrick told Andy and Randy.

"It's very important for a young pitcher to have that (early success) because it builds so much confidence in them that they come up to the Major Leagues and they immediately know that their stuff is good enough to get MLB players out...and that's exactly what Kyle Muller was able to prove to himself.
"I think that Kyle Muller will be that guy. I think they'll keep riding him until they get guys healthy."
