Not long after the deaths of DMX and Black Rob, the hip-hop community is mourning another tragic loss. It was announced on Thursday (April 23) that hip-hop legend, Shock G, passed away at just 57.
The famed rapper-producer was the frontman of legendary, alternative rap group, Digital Underground. The Oakland collective introduced Tupac to the world and according to Bootsy Collins, "helped keep P Funk alive." The master of disguise is best known for being "the one who put the satin on your panties," and his alter ego, Humpty Hump. From the mouths of friends, fans and musical heavyweights, here are several moments to remember the late, incomparable Shock G.
