Ten indictments have been handed up in the grand jury considering charges against former President Donald Trump and others for alleged election interference. The charges and names of the indicted were not read.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who has been investigating Trump and others for the past two years, is expected to hold a media conference.

Security was extremely high at the Fulton County Courthouse in Atlanta Monday, as a grand jury met in the investigation into alleged election interference by former President Donald Trump.

By 8:00pm et reports indicated that a grand jury was already considering whether to indict Trump.

Earlier in the day several witnesses appeared at the courthouse to testify, including former Georgia Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan, and former Georgia lawmakers Jen Jordan and Bee Nguyen. Gabriel Sterling, with the Georgia Secretary of State's office also testified.

The proceedings kicked into high gear, as Duncan had previously indicated that his appearance before the grand jury was scheduled for Tuesday morning. When he left the courthouse Monday, Duncan called it all "a pivot point" indicating that it's a moment for everyone to realize that the election "was not stolen", and that "it's important to tell the truth." Duncan has been critical of fellow-Republican Trump.

A phone call made to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger by then-President Donald Trump was among evidence in the case brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Trump is heard in the call trying to persuade Raffensperger to 'find 11,780 votes' to help him beat Joe Biden in the 2020 election for U.S. President.

Meanwhile, information that was entered on a Fulton County public records website but was quickly taken down, apparently indicated that there had been an indictment.
