Falcons' James Pearce Jr. handed 8-game suspension
As the Atlanta Falcons were preparing for their first preseason game against the Denver Broncos, ESPN NFL Insider, Adam Schefter reported second-year edge rusher, James Pearce Jr., is being suspended for eight games without pay for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, which the Falcons later confirmed.
“I didn’t think it would be eight games, I thought that would be somewhat of an over-reaction,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said as he and cohost Mike Bell reacted to the reports of Pearce Jr.’s suspension, which the Falcons later confirmed. “We should not be surprised,” Dukes said.
“Now, how does this effect this team? This is what they’ve been preparing for,” Dukes continued as he explained why he believes Pearce Jr.’s reps during training camp taking place majority with the second and third teams, was the Falcons preparing for the potential of starting the season without Pearce Jr.James Pearce Jr. suspended 8-games for 2026 season
