Zac Jackson of The Athletic joined The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima on 92.3 the Fan in Cleveland to go over the start of NFL free agency, and what the Browns may be planning following their trade for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kenny Pickett.
"Probably by the weekend, they'll have Kirk Cousins," Jackson said. "March 16 is when the Falcons owe him 10 million bucks, and everybody expects that they won't pay him that. If they do, we'll see what's next.
But probably Kirk Cousins always has been [Cleveland's] No. 1 plan. That's been out there since December."
