The first big training camp injury bug finally bit the Atlanta Falcons this morning. Jeff Okudah was carted off the field at practice today after suffering an apparent leg injury.
Early reports and speculation indicate it could be an ankle injury, but the severity of the injury is up in the air. Okudah tore his achilles during his rookie campaign with the Detroit Lions.
The third overall pick in 2020 has had some bad luck when it comes to injuries, and you just hope he has avoided another major injury. The bright side for the Falcons is that unlike in years past they do have quality depth in the secondary.
Clark Phillips, Mike Hughes , Tre Flowers, Dee Alford, and Darren Hall are all currently on the Falcons roster, and are serviceable options to lineup across from A.J. Terrell if Okudah has to miss extended time.
