With 57 yards on seven catches Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts has recorded the most yards by a tight end in a four-game span in franchise history with 395. The Falcons 26-19 win over the Arizona Cardinals yesterday also marked his fourth straight game with at least six receptions, tied for the longest such streak among tight ends this season.
Pitts has racked up 31 catches for 395 yards and has scored 4 touchdowns in the last four games, and earlier today former Atlanta Falcons quarterback and now analyst for the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network Dave Archer joined The Morning Shift and explained why he thinks the former fourth overall pick has been playing so well recently.
“He plays angry, and that’s the best way I can describe it. I don’t know Mike. I don't know if you’ve seen another player kind of flip a switch like this, but he's just playing like he’s mad.” Dave Archer said
Hopefully Kyle can continue to harness whatever anger and/or intensity that he’s been playing with recently because if he does that’ll give the Falcons an even better chance to finish the season strong, and give him, a free agent to be at the end of this season, an even better chance to get a nice pay day from either the Falcons or another team this offseason.
