After just dropping the extended version of his fourth album WHAM this month, Lil Baby, celebrating the album’s accomplishments on IG, shared he already has plans to release another project, Dominique, some time in February. And that’s not all Lil Baby has in store.

Not wasting any time in 2025, Baby also recently mentioned he has a joint project with Future in the works. Crediting Young Thug for the collab, and noting it now will most likely include him.
“WHAM album, Dominique album, Can’t Be F***-d With tape — a compilation remember I was telling you I got that coming,” he teased of what’s to come during his “A Day in the Life With Lil Baby” interview. “Me and Future was working on a joint tape. We damn near got the joint tape done. Now [Young Thug] came home and he ain’t going for that. He like, ’S***.’ And it actually [was] Thug’s idea.”
Also talking about the collab project with Complex, Baby shared, that since his return he’s also been working on new music with Thug “We’ve been in the studio together [every day] almost since he came home. So we got tons of songs,” he said. “Me and Future were also going to drop a project, but it was Thug’s idea. The whole time while he’s locked up, I’m talking to him and trying to talk about the trial. He’s like, 'You need to get with Pluto and drop the tape with Pluto.' I’m trying to talk about the trial. He ain’t even tripping. He’s like, 'Bro, go to Miami. You need to lock in with Pluto, y’all need to drop an album. Do that for me.'”
After spending over two years behind bars in what was the longest-running trial in Georgia’s state history, Young Thug was released on October 31 after reaching a plea deal in the YSL RICO case. And now that’s he’s out, Baby revealed the album will likely feature all three rappers instead of serving up separate projects. “There probably won’t be a me and Future tape anymore because Thug is back. So, whatever it would be, it’ll be all three of us.” Adding, "[And that’s] super exciting, because to me, those are two of the main people that I would say I look up to in the rap game. So to be able to spar with them, I feel like that’s sharpened me up a whole lot.”
