Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were elated to find out Friday morning that Ozzie Albies has been called up to rejoin the Atlanta Braves after a successful rehab assignment with the Braves Triple A affiliate, the Gwinett Stripers.

In his final 2 games win Gwinett, Albies went 6-9 including a walk-off homerun so he should be ready to roll when the Braves host the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:20pm tonight at Truist Park.

To make room for Ozzie Albies on the roster, the Braves placed utility infielder Ehire Adrianza on the 10-day IL with a strained left quadriceps.

In the audio clip above Andy & Randy share their thoughts on Albies’ return.

On the season Albies is hitting .244 with 8 homeruns and 22 RBI in 62 games.

You can hear Andy & Randy Monday-Friday from 11a-2p.
