The Atlanta Falcons have a lot of decisions to make this offseason, including some unexpected ones. Kicker Younghoe Koo's disastrous 2024 campaign filled with injury and ineffectiveness has made him a potential cap casualty. The former Pro-Bowl kicker's future in Atlanta is now up for debate after missing nine kicks last season.

Prior to last season Koo was regarded as one of the most reliable kickers in the NFL. He has set impressive marks in his career for kicking percentage and game-winners to boot. His percentage, however, has dipped a bit since his high water mark of 94% in 2020. Koo missed five kicks each of the past two seasons entering the 2024 campaign.

The other aspect to consider with Koo is his contract. He is owed roughly $10 million over the next two seasons after signing a five-year $24 million dollar deal back in 2022. The Falcons could move on from Koo and find a much cheaper option.
