If you were holding this year’s Atlanta Falcons team to the standards that some of the national media outlets set for the Dirty Birds then the Falcons have already exceeded expectations. Now, most Falcons fans knew the team would win more than two games, and expected them to be about where they are right now when it comes to their record. However, most if not all Atlanta Falcons fans didn’t expect the Falcons to still be alive to win the NFC South, but they did expect to learn a lot about the young players and that mission has been accomplished.

On Tuesday night The Dopey Millennial Show, with Caleb Johnson and Garrett Chapman, explained why the ultimate goal for the Atlanta Falcons this year has been achieved. The Falcons needed to find out which players are going to be a part of the future and foundation of this Falcons team and which players won’t be around for the long haul. Caleb and Garrett believed the Falcons have achieved that saying “This is the prove it Falcons, and have they not played out exactly like that, and they answered questions.”

The Falcons have found out that rookies like Arnold Ebiketie, DeAngelo Malone, Troy Andersen and Tyler Allgeier can play. The Falcons have found out that other young guys like Mykal Walker, Jaylinn Hawkins, and Richie Grant can play, and the Falcons have found out that guys like Darren Hall and Dee Alford can play but maybe aren’t starting caliber players.

Now, the Falcons are also starting to find out the answer to the biggest question coming into this season. Can Desmond Ridder be the next franchise quarterback? Again no matter what happens the rest of this season the Falcons have at least had a productive season when it comes to finding out what players will and will not be a part of the future and foundation.
