Ben Simmons is a difficult player to evaluate.
On one hand, he's a tremendous facilitator and one of the five best defenders in the NBA. On the other hand, his ability to look like an all-time great in some facets of the game makes it that much more frustrating when Simmons' weaknesses rear their ugly head.
Behind a monster first half from Joel Embiid, the Sixers jumped out to a commanding lead in the first half of Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Atlanta Hawks. However, Simmons went just 2-8 from the free-throw line, an all-too-familiar problem for the three-time All-Star this postseason.
