Atlanta Falcons beat writer D. Orlando Ledbetter joined Dukes & Bell live from Mobile, Alabama at the Senior Bowl. He talked to the guys about what position groups Falcons brass was looking at this week and whether this be the year the Falcons start the transition at the quarterback spot?

When asked what position groups the team was looking at this week in Mobile.
“They were probably looking at everything," said Ledbetter. "They got a lot of holes, so we saw them checking out the wideouts, the running backs, of course they need edge rushers, of course they need lineman. It’s a good group down there this year, lot of draftable players. So yeah, they’re looking at the whole thing. Terry Fontenot said they’re going to interview everybody but can’t really pin them down to anything, they need a lot of help everywhere.”
When asked if the Falcons would potentially be looking at a quarterback.

“No, the fans just don’t want to listen," said Ledbetter. "The guy’s owed $60 million over the next two years. At some point you do got to transition at quarterback, but this quarterback class is not very good. It’s on par with the Christian Ponder year. You’re not picking a quarterback at 8. But yeah, you could certainly look at the middle rounds to late rounds and try to find somebody there and develop them.”
