The Atlanta Hawks will tip off against the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals at 8:30 p.m.

NBA.com senior writer Steve Aschburner joined The Midday Show to preview the series and discussed what it will take for the Hawks to advance to the Finals.

"Trae Young has to hit floaters with the reliability and the deadliness of Steph Curry hitting 30-footers," Aschburner told Randy and Chris. "I think Giannis Antetokounmpo needs to keep his shooting range anywhere from 17-feet out, except from the free throw line when he can shoot those and help Atlanta."

I think it's going to take some extremes for Atlanta to upset Milwaukee, but it's not un-doable."

So who does Aschburner think the Hawks will have on Giannis Antetokounmpo in this series?

"I don't know who Atlanta is going to assign to Giannis; if it's (Clint) Capela to start, that's fine. But Giannis is longer than Capela and certainly (longer) than (John) Collins. If he plays as aggressively in the paint as he played late in that Brooklyn series, that's going to be a problem."
