Michael Harris II is now Braves' most important player after Jurickson Profar ban

Now that Atlanta Braves outfielder Jurickson Profar has been suspended for 80 games after testing positive for a banned substance the Braves outfield has gotten pretty shorthanded around Michael Harris II, and will be until Ronald Acuña Jr. comes back. Earlier today, The Morning Shift explained why Money Mike is Atlanta's most important player right now until their other star outfielder returns.

“None of us know what we’re gonna get from Ronnie [Ronald Acuña Jr.], and that’s not a knock on Ronnie I mean it’s just he’s coming back from another major injury, that’s why [Jurickson] Profar was so important because it gave you another bat, another option, a guy that could get on base, a guy that could you know steal here and there.”

“I hate to say it Michael Harris might be the most important player on this team right now. I really think that because he’s a guy that can play not only great defense, but you know he went oppo last night, so if he can get his bat going that would be so needed for this club I mean absolutely just a God send for this team.” Beau said

Harris’ defense has never been in question since he’s been with the big league club, but if he can stay consistent offensively, and help carry the Braves’ offense at least until Acuña Jr. comes back Beau is absolutely right that would be a “God send” for the Braves.
