The Atlanta Hawks will debut a new starting lineup on October 25, and it will notably be without power forward John Collins, who is now playing for the Utah Jazz. Brad Rowland, host of "Locked on Hawks," shared his perspective on how the team will fare without Collins during an interview on The Jon Chuckery Show.

Rowland believes the primary change will be the added versatility at the power forward position. While Collins is a talented player, his skill set didn't always align with the Hawks' playing style. Rowland sees players like Saddiq Bey and Jalen Johnson as better fits for the roster due to their shooting and passing abilities. However, he acknowledges that the team might lose some size and defense with Collins' departure. But the potential offensive upside could make up for it.

The Hawks will conclude their preseason on Friday, October 20, against the Philadelphia 76ers, with a game starting at 7 p.m. Fans can stay updated with all things Atlanta Hawks by tuning into 92.9 The Game or using the Audacy app.
