Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci has entered a guilty plea in connection to a racketeering case in Fulton County.
YFN Lucci, who's real name is Rayshawn Bennett, has been in jail since May 2021 when him and a dozen of other suspects were charged in a 75-page, 105 count racketeering indictment focused on areas of involvement with the Bloods street gang.
Bennett was initially facing numerous felony counts that could have potentially left him serving life without parole. Now that he's taken the deal, he is pleading guilty to a one count violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
The prosecution has proposed a 20-year sentence with 10 years to serve. The deal stipulated that Bennett will get credit for time served, which began when he surrendered himself to authorities on January 13, 2021.
Reports say that Bennett with only actually serve three and half months in jail, and the rest of his sentence will be carried out on probation.
