Why Jonathan Kuminga is 'right fit' for Hawks

As the NBA gets set to wrap up with the Finals nearing an end, the Atlanta Hawks are in the midst of preparing for the upcoming draft and with the eighth and 23rd overall picks, look to add players who can come in and help the franchise take the next step into becoming an NBA championship contender.

And while this year’s draft class is considered to be one of the best in recent years in terms of talent, presenting the Hawks with the potential to add a very impactful player, there has been speculation in regards to whether the team may consider moving on from Jonathan Kuminga, who they acquired in a trade with the Golden State Warriors.

“I would keep [Jonathan] Kuminga,” CBS Sports NBA Writer, Brad Botkin, said as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell and explained why he believes the Hawks should retain Kuminga. “I think Kuminga is really good, you certainly saw it in spirts for you,” Botkin said of Kuminga, referencing some of his performances once he joined the Hawks roster. “I think this would be a missed opportunity,” Botkin said of the Hawks not sticking with Kuminga
