Even though the Atlanta Falcons have one of the better offensive lines in the NFL right now the Falcons are still looking to find and add some much needed depth across their O-Line. One unlikely player who could provide that depth is undrafted free agent center out of Miami James Brockermeyer, and earlier today The Morning Shift explained why they think Brockermeyer could be Atlanta’s starting center as soon as next season.
“I could see getting through this year and them [the Falcons] saying alright, you’re gonna be too expensive now, because look man he [Ryan Neuzil] replaced [Drew] Dalman and I don’t think he was as good as Drew Dalman, but he checks a lot of the boxes that Drew Dalman did that’s why he was able to take over, so I could absolutely see if he has a decent year this year seeing him walking in the exact same way that Drew Dalman did.” Beau Morgan said
The Falcons starting center is indeed an unrestricted free agent after this season, but you would like to think that Ryan Neuzil won’t command too much money on the free agent center market even if he has a good season this year, but if he does walk in free agency like Dalman did the Falcons could potentially have a very solid option in James Brockermeyer.
