Stephen Curry capped off an incredible night at Madison Square Garden in fitting fashion. After breaking Ray Allen’s all-time 3-point record and finishing with 22 points in the Warriors’ 105-96 win over the New York Knicks, Curry shared a moment with Allen and Reggie Miller.

During his postgame interview with TNT, the two NBA greats joined Curry and presented him with a blue Warriors jersey donning the number 2,974 – marking the new record Steph set when he sank his second 3-pointer of the game.
“This is pretty special, man," Curry told TNT. "I’ve been thinking about this number for a long time. I even got on my shoes. Basketball history. This is pretty special. Like I said, these two legends. I watched them growing up and understood what it meant to shoot the ball because of them and my dad. Full-circle moment, man. I’m blessed.”
Curry, Allen and Miller also joined for a pregame hug, so they’ll be linked by this night forever.

Steph got to hug his mom, his dad, his teammates and do it at basketball’s holy ground. He’s the top dog of 3-pointers and looks primed to become the first to ever hit the 3,000 3-point barrier.
“It’s kind of crazy to think, growing up around the league watching my dad play with my family, going to Hornet games,” Curry said. “Having big dreams about shooting the basketball and one day hopefully playing on this level. To do it here at Madison Square Garden in front of this guy right here [pointing at Allen] and Reggie, and just all that basketball means to me. It’s special. I had great support here. This arena, I can’t express how much of an honor that was for the reaction here on the road and the appreciation for the milestone. Obviously, it’s great to get a win on top of that. A very, very, very special night.”
