The former Atlanta police officer charged with murder in the June 12 shooting of Rayshard Brooks is suing to get his job back. In a lawsuit filed in Fulton County Superior Court, Garrett Rolfe claims that the city code and his constitutional rights were violated when he was fired the day after the shooting.
Meanwhile, Fulton County prosecutors have filed a motion for Rolfe's bond to be revoked. The prosecutors claim that Rolfe took an authorized trip to Florida. According to the motion, the bond arrangement "expressly states that the Defendant is only allowed to leave home for medical, legal, or work related obligations."
