Professionals Speak on COVID-19 Impact on Minority Communities
Dr. Cindy Trimm (Global Humanitarian and Leader in Faith and International Politics) & Dr. Paula Walker King (Global Speaker and Board-Certified Physician) called into On Point with Juandolyn Stokes to respond to CNN’s The Color of Covid special, which focuses on the coronavirus disparities among the African-American community.

The special also puts a spotlight on the growing struggles and provided viewers with encouragement and ways they can help flatten the curve. 

Stokes, Dr. Trimm, and Dr. King discussed the following actionable items to keep listeners aware of COVID-19 huge impact on black and brown people.

·        Various reasons why African-Americans are being so adversely affected by the coronavirus

·        Tips on how the African American community can prepare for, and prevent, getting hit harder during the second wave of the pandemic
