On a recent episode of "Good Vibes" stars of the new show "The Braxtons," Trina and Towanda Braxton appeared to discuss their latest project and their family’s journey since the passing of their sister, Traci Braxton.
The Braxtons are transitioning from their former show, "Braxton Family Values," to a new series titled "The Braxtons." This season is notably different due to the absence of their late sister, Traci Braxton. The sisters have integrated tributes to Traci into their new show, including wearing commemorative necklaces and featuring her son in the series to honor her legacy.
The conversation also covered the realities of managing their sisterly relationships while being filmed. The Braxtons addressed how family issues can sometimes spill over into their public life but stressed the importance of resolving conflicts and maintaining their familial bond.
To foster a positive atmosphere, Ms. Towanda shared her routine of meditation and gratitude, which helps her stay centered. Ms. Trina mentioned that spending time together, including sharing cocktails, contributes to their relaxed and supportive dynamic.
The sisters also touched on their culinary skills, discussing their family’s cooking talents and emphasizing that each member excels in different areas. Ms. Towanda noted that their mother remains the best cook, though Ms. Trina and other sisters have their specialties.
In light of Black Business Month, the Braxtons expressed their views on supporting Black-owned businesses. They highlighted that while they support such ventures, their primary focus is on quality and excellence, regardless of the business's ownership.
