As the world gears up to celebrate the momentous 50th anniversary of hip hop, Atlanta's music scene is always putting something together with excitement. Leading the charge in a different way is Curtis Daniel, the visionary behind Patchwerk Studios, a prominent name in the city's music industry. In an exclusive interview with Voices in the Streets Unfiltered on 1380 WAOK, Curtis Daniel shared his insights and passion for the upcoming IDoMusic 5k Run/Walk. As we celebrate 50 years of Hip Hop Curtis noticed there wasn't much tied in with health and fitness and thought this would be the perfect time to bring back IdOMusic 5K since being on hiatus since 2018.
With an amazing list of music icons like Outkast, Goodie Mob, T.I, Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Missy Elliot, Beyonce', Jay-z, and many more gracing the halls of Patchwerk Studios, it becomes evident that Atlanta deserves nothing less than an exclusive 5k event dedicated to the vibrant music culture within the Atlanta streets. Patchwerk Studios will also be celebrating 28 years servicing the music industry.
The race will take place in midtown starting and ending at Patchwerk Studio. The route will take you on 14th street and then around to 10th street and back to Patchwerk Studios.

8:00AM - 9:30AM - 5K Run / Walk
9:30AM - 12:00PM - Open House at Patchwerk Recording Studios
