On Point with Juandolyn Stokes bid adieu to financial expert Hakeem Webb, Founder and CEO of National Christian Financial Services. Webb has been hosting the financial segment on the show for the last three years.
"My goal was to bring high-level Wall Street and global financial information to everyday people, especially our community, which is usually only available to wealthy and ultra-wealthy investors and institutions," said Webb.
Webb was referred to the show a second time in February 2021 when Angela Greene took over as producer of the show.
"He has offered information to the community and our audience on economic public policy, achieving financial success, community and economic development, investments, HBCUs, stakeholders, and stockholders-our team appreciates you," said Stokes.
"It's truly been a blessing to be on the show working with you, Angela, and Shantelle. I kept calling Angela with persistence. I'm not sure if I wore her down or what," joked Webb.
Webb says he contributed most to the show and the community by filling a void in that of solid trustworthy financial literacy for our community that was actionable.
"I had to earn the right to be on the show," said Webb.
"I was impressed by Hakeem's persistence, which is why I advocated for him to be on the show. He was always professional and prepared for his segments, said Greene.
"I will continue to deliver financial information to our community through target efforts, a work base, a community base and hopefully a podcast. On a bigger scale, our firm was asked to help minority contractors and Namibia with economic development for their country," added Webb.
Several listeners called and echoed how much they will miss Webb and his financial advice.
