"Nothing is perfect" emphasized Ronnie, when sharing the process of building a successful marriage.
Ronnie continued by saying, "It's not easy all the time getting along with one another, but if you put the right foundational things in place, IT BECOMES EASIER."
Throughout the conversation, Shamari and Ronnie discussed how pushing through challenges, led to many of the blessings that they now celebrate, after more than a decade of marriage.
The proud parents of twin boys stressed several times that experiencing, "honesty and transparency" with one another were key factors in the success of the DeVoe's journey.
"One of the things that attracted him to me, was him knowing I can be genuine and vulnerable", explained Shamari while discussing the early stages of their relationship.
Ronnie and Shamari are more than just a power R&B couple; they are business owners, parents, and advocates for family and marriage.
"We need more marriages" expressed Shamari when speaking candidly about her passion to see couples succeed in today's world.
When asked to give a final thought on marriage to the listeners, the couple was unified in their thoughts when Shamari eloquently said, "Be open, be honest, communicate, and don't be scared to get help. You cannot do everything by yourselves."
