Yolanda Renee King, the only grandchild of Martin Luther King Jr and Coretta Scott King is the author of "We Dream a World: Carrying the Light from my Grandparents, Martin Luther King Jr., and Coretta Scott King."
The release of King's new book is quite timely as it is just ahead of the 95th Birthday celebration of her grandfather on January 15.
Although the book is promoted as a children's book, King maintains, "It is a book for everyone, it provides encouragement for everyone."
She adds her book was inspired by her grandfather's speech, I Have a Dream, which was inspired by Langston Huges' poem, I Dream a World.
Ultimately King hopes her book will express the importance of unity and racial equality.
"I think the book, the speech, and the poem show people this is the kind of world we can have, to encourage, to believe, and to do something in their community," said King.
The 15 year old new author who was named after her late aunt, Yolanda King says she hopes the book gets children excited!
