Sarah Collins-Rudolph was 12 years old in 1963 when a racially motivated tragedy struck the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, killing four innocent African American girls. The act of hate shocked the nation and fueled the Civil Rights Movement. She was the only survivor of the bombing and was in town this week, sharing her story at Peace Baptist Church in Decatur.
Watch as she shares with the audience the day she was rescued from the rubble inside the church.
