2026 Lexus NX 350h AWD Review

Tested in Nori Green Pearl at $56,665

The Lexus NX is one of those vehicles that does not try too hard to impress you. And honestly, that is exactly why it works. This week, I spent time in a 2026 Lexus NX 350h AWD finished in Nori Green Pearl, with a total sticker price of $56,665 as equipped. And after living with it, one thing became very clear. This SUV is not trying to be the most exciting in the segment.

It is trying to be the one you can depend on.

Right-Sized for Real Life
The NX hits a sweet spot in the compact luxury SUV segment. It feels just right for empty nesters, retirees, and upwardly mobile professionals who want something premium without stepping up into a larger SUV.

Inside, there is plenty of space for everyday life. Comfortable seating, a usable cargo area, and a layout that makes sense without overcomplicating things. It is easy to maneuver in the city, easy to park, and easy to live long-term.

This is not a vehicle you have to adjust your lifestyle for. It adjusts to you.

Nori Green Pearl Adds Presence

Let’s talk about this color.

Nori Green Pearl is one of those shades that elevates the entire vehicle. It adds a level of richness and understated luxury that you do not always see in this segment.

In a parking lot full of black, white, and gray SUVs, this one stands out without trying too hard. It fits the NX's personality perfectly.

Lexus DNA: Reliability First
Lexus has built its reputation on dependability, and that still carries weight today. If long-term reliability and peace of mind matter to you, Lexus is still the benchmark in the luxury space.

And that is where this NX 350h separates itself apart from many competitors.

Some brands chase performance. Others chase technology.

Lexus focuses on making sure your vehicle starts every day, runs smoothly, and does not become a problem five or ten years down the road. And for many buyers, that outweighs everything else.

Performance and Driving Experience
The NX 350h uses a hybrid powertrain that produces about 240 horsepower and delivers around 39 miles per gallon combined.

That efficiency advantage is real. On the road, the NX is smooth, quiet, and composed. That is exactly what you expect from Lexus. Now let’s talk about the one thing I do not love.

The CVT transmission. If you enjoy traditional gear changes or a more engaging driving experience, you will notice it. It is not as satisfying as the automatic transmissions in competitors like BMW or Audi. But Lexus has tuned it well.

In everyday driving, it fades into the background and delivers the smooth, seamless feel that Lexus is known for.

The Vanilla Ice Cream Effect
I often compare Lexus to vanilla ice cream.

Not many people say it is their favorite.
But hardly anybody hates it.
The NX fits that perfectly.
