Kevin Larkai and Monte’ Burrow, Founders of Blackleaf Organic Vodka have apparently cornered the market on this French-made spirit made with natural ingredients like spiced pears, nuts, and a hint of peppercorn making it ideal for mixing or sipping if you choose.
Larkai says the unique farming practices with no pesticides used by their master crafter and the organic inks makes their product more sustainable and makes organic sexy in the process.
This is not your father’s cheap vodka he drank at his college frat parties. Instead, it is the first in Larkai’s and Burrow’s portfolio of quality spirits. BlackLeaf relaunched their brand in 2019 and since then they have been working to be innovative and pioneers in this space.
“We know we have a great product that is fulfilling. We can show up, and show well,” said Burrow.
Larkai and Burrows met in the DMV and shared a similar interest in creating a quality product. Larkai’s background in product development and Burrow's background in marketing was a match made in heaven for these business partners who joined forces to create this “phenomenal liquid” they have been getting positive feedback on ever since.
According to Blackleaf, they now have a world-class product that can go toe to toe with the big boys.
They agree that consistency has been a key to their success, which has been a marathon, not a sprint. Speaking of sprinting, Larkai and Burrow are focused on increasing their territory by adding more states to the areas they have already secured including Georgia (Atlanta), the DMV, and North Carolina.
If you’d like to purchase Blackleaf in your neighborhood store, remember to ask for it by name.
