During a recent interview on the "Wake Up with Dee Morning Show" Host Dr. Dee Dawkins Haigler spoke wellness expert and entrepreneur Savauna Sage about her journey toward creating balance, peace, and purpose through her Douglasville-based wellness retreat, Paradise Park.

Ms. Sage, the owner of an eight-acre riverfront sanctuary designed for absolute rest and reset, says the vision for Paradise Park was born out of her own experience with burnout after years in the fast-paced corporate world. “I had everything — a successful career, family, and stability — but I was losing myself,” she said. “Paradise Park became a place where I could reconnect, and now I’m helping others do the same.

Paradise Park sits on a secluded, tranquil stretch of land in Douglasville, Georgia, and serves as a refuge for individuals in high-demand careers, caretakers, and anyone needing restoration. The retreat offers wellness workshops, nature experiences, and personalized programs that help guests rejuvenate their minds and bodies.

This space is for those who give and give until they’re empty,” Ms. Sage said. “Here, we remind people that it’s okay to rest, to refill, and to choose themselves again.

In addition to running Paradise Park, Ms. Sage frequently shares holistic health tips with listeners, especially during the colder months. She encourages people to create their own wellness apothecary using natural ingredients like ginger, turmeric, black seed oil, lemon, purple onion, and colloidal silver, all known for supporting the immune system and keeping coughs and sniffles at bay.

Beyond the retreat, Sage is expanding her vision through Lumina Manor, a capsule-style resort and wellness property set to open in May 2026, just ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Atlanta. Designed with a focus on modern rest and sustainable living, Lumina Manor will host up to 90 guests while continuing Sage’s mission of promoting holistic wellness.
