Kiran Kimbrough is no longer employed by the Atlanta Police Department. Kimbrough is accused of using a taser on 62 year old Johnny Hollman on August 10, 2023 following a minor traffic accident.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner ruled Hollman's death was a homicide.

Hollman's family has been outspoken in calling for the officer to be fired and for the body cam video to be released. They had an hour-long meeting with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis Monday.

Arnitra Hollman says that Willis listened to what the family had to say about who their father was. "He wasn't just some Black old man," says Hollman, "I believe that Willis heard us and we feel heard."

Thursday is when the family says Willis told them that the police body camera video of their father's last moments will be released to the public.
