The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) says it is looking into a police shooting outside the Greyhound station on Forsyth Street in Atlanta.

A man, identified as 30 year old Tobias Levontae Sutton of College Park, is hospitalized in stable condition.

The shooting happened shortly before 5 O'clock Sunday morning as Atlanta police officers were trying to escort Sutton, described as being 'disorderly', outside the station. They say that Sutton wouldn't cooperate. According to the GBI Sutton pulled a handgun from a suitcase he was pushing and shot at the officers. One of the officers returned fire and shot him. Sutton was taken to a hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

This is the 32nd officer involved shooting the GBI has been requested to investigate in 2023.
