In a compelling interview on The Rashad Richey Morning Show, COO of The Hype Magazine H.E. Shanta Lana Hereford discussed the "Birth of a New Nation Global Peace Summit" schedule and objectives.
The summit, running until August 25, is designed to foster economic and spiritual liberation within the global Black diaspora. It will begin with the Diaspora by Design fashion show on Thursday, August 22, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Atrium Event Center.
On Friday, August 23, the summit will collaborate with the 124th National Black Business Conference and the National Alliance for Black Business to host a major business conference at the Hilton Hotel from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The summit will officially launch on Saturday, August 24, with a range of panels and workshops covering topics like artificial intelligence, agriculture, and cultural resource management. Notable speakers include Dr. Jill Stein and other political figures who will discuss their platforms and policies.
