
As school doors open again, Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Lisa Herring says their Covid mitigation strategy will continue.
APS students can undergo Covid testing twice a week. Employees are also tested. Herring says masks are optional.
Students are also going back to school today in Cobb and Cherokee Counties.
Clayton, Gwinnett and Henry start back Wednesday. Fayette opens its doors Thursday.
Clayton and Gwinnett will be requiring employees to wear face masks as students return to classes.
The school year starts for Fulton and DeKalb next Monday.
