(5:48 p.m.)
Sonya Portier describes her 18 year old son Tyson as "a wonderful and sensitive child." While he has a few friends, Portier says "he pretty much keeps to himself."
Portier says she hasn't heard from Tyson Evan Williams since speaking to him Friday afternoon.
"The bus was full, so we talked about him coming home (to Decatur) Saturday instead."
According to Portier, her son hasn't been seen since around 2am Saturday morning at a store near the campus of Albany State University where he is a freshman.
Williams is black, 5 feet 11, 155 pounds, with pierced ears and long dreds.
Anyone with information about Williams' whereabouts should call the Albany, Georgia, police department at 229-431-2100.
Williams is a 2020 graduate of Miller Grove High School in DeKalb County.
