Mayor Elton Alexander shares with Stokes his grand plan of turning Henry County into a Class A -Best in Class Place to live. Alexander shares that Southside residents no longer need to travel north to have access to the best in shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Alexander explains Downtown Stockbridge is going through a major redevelopment. He tells Stokes that he is proud of their $20 million, 4000 seat capacity state of the art Amphitheater which opens with a concert on Sept. 25 featuring Patti Labelle. Alexander says this is The Best Amphitheater in the State of Georgia!
Alexander goes on to share some benefits of living in Stockbridge including, the City of Stockbridge gives you more land for your money. He touches on the quality of life of all citizens in Stockbridge and Stockbridge as a strong civil rights connection with King Family.
