On this World AIDS Day, the National AIDS Memorial Quilt is on display at Atlanta's Dunbar Elementary.
The public can see the quilt this evening when the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. unveils two panels. They'll be added to the already more than 49,000 blocks that make up the entire quilt.
Dr. Mary Knight, Co-Chair of the Atlanta organization's International Awareness and Involvement Committee says the panels will be unveiled during a program from 6-8 p.m.

During the forum, Knight says medical experts and community partners will share educational information and current statistics on people of color in the south along with the new treatments that are available.
The quilt exhibition is part of the Change the Panel Campaign.
