Last night, Too Much Truth host Derrick Boazeman partnered with Black Man Lab to present the Blackest Black History Program in America at First Iconium Baptist Church. The powerful event, made possible with the support of Rev. Tim McDonald, Tamika Harvey, Mawui Davis and GA Me, celebrated Black history, culture, and empowerment in a way that was both inspiring and unapologetically bold.
The evening was filled with dynamic speakers, powerful performances, and thought-provoking discussions, all aimed at honoring the past while shaping the future. Boazeman, known for his passion for Black excellence and community activism, emphasized the importance of reclaiming and telling our own stories.
With the Black Man Lab’s commitment to mentorship and leadership development, the event also served as a space for intergenerational dialogue, ensuring that the next generation carries forward the legacy of strength, resilience, and progress. Derrick and other mentors even split into groups to teach each young man In attendance how to tie a tie.
The Blackest Black History Program in America was more than just an event—it was a call to action, a reminder of the power of unity, and a celebration of Black brilliance in its purest form.
